Health, safety, environment and quality policy statement Water Works Ltd is committed to providing safe, high quality, environmentally responsible services that meet the requirements and needs of our customers, many of whom are in the hydrocarbons sector. Two of the key concerns of the sector, and therefore of Waterworks’ business success, are high Health and Safety standards and environmentally responsible techniques and technologies. Waterworks Limited believes that one of its most important functions is the prevention of accidents and ill health.  We do not wish any of our employees or any other person to suffer as the result of activities or work processes.  To this end, we intend to comply rigorously with all Health and Safety Legislation, Codes of Practice and best guidance and work methods available. As a wet asset management company, Waterworks recognizes that all our activities can have an impact on the environment and that these impacts are both local and global. Impacts arise from the consumption of raw materials and energy, transport and emissions to air, land and water. Protecting and enhancing the environment by preventing pollution is an integral component of our business operations. In order to promote a strong environmental and safety culture, to prevent injury and ill- health and to deliver high environmental and quality standards, Waterworks has the following HSEQ objectives: 1.  Implement and maintain an Integrated Health, Safety, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems that is aligned with ISO 18001:2007, ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001:2004 requirements. 2.  Seek suppliers, subcontractors and customers who have the same commitment to health and safety, quality and the environment and so encouraging mutual and beneficial relationships with them. 3.  Provide a system of employee involvement, motivation and training and supervision that encourages the achievement of HSEQ objectives. 4.  Focus on our customers requirements and strive to meet or exceed them. Conducts our activities in a manner that monitors, minimizes and where possible prevents harmful releases to air, land and water. 5.  Documents, reviews and minimises waste through recovery, re-use and recycling in preference to disposal 6.  Endeavour to identify and comply with legal and other requirements (such as ACOPs and customer requirements) by which the organization is affected. 7.  Endeavour for continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Health, Safety, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System and its performance through using an iterative, process-based approach of plan / do / review / correct. The Director (Helen Fazakerley) is responsible for communicating the HSEQ Policy and making sure that all those affected by our work understand it. She reviews the policy and RAMS annually and as required. She communicates the policy (and any changes) to employees at induction, at staff reviews, at internal audit meetings and during the Management Review.  She communicates the policy and changes to sub- contractors at regular sub-contractor meetings, site audits and workshops with sub- contractor staff.  All HSEQ Targets are reviewed as part of Waterworks’ Annual Management Review in April. New annual targets are communicated to employees and sub-contractor staff through the channels of communication described above. To achieve the HSEQ policy and its objectives the Managing Director also undertakes to: a.  Assign the necessary resources (including equipment, training and access to   expert advice) b.  Measure and review the objectives and targets c.  Maintain the Health, Safety and Health, Safety, Environment and Quality system.
